In Loving Memory of Thang Luong

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved father, husband, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Thang Luong, who passed away peacefully on September 4, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.

Thang lived a remarkable and fulfilling life dedicated to his family, his profession, and his community. He was a highly respected civil engineer who served for many years as a department chief in Vietnam. During the difficult years of the Vietnam War, he played an important role in the development and construction of major infrastructure projects, including highways, bridges, airports, and other essential public works. His professional contributions reflected his intelligence, dedication, leadership, and commitment to building a better future.

In 1975, Thang came to the United States and began a new chapter of his life. With courage, determination, and perseverance, he built a new life for his family in America. His greatest accomplishment, however, was not the roads, bridges, or infrastructure he helped build—it was the family he raised and the values he passed on to the generations that followed.

Together with his beloved wife, he raised seven children, and was blessed with eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He took great pride in his family and remained a source of wisdom, strength, and guidance to those around him.

To his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild, he was a role model whose life demonstrated the importance of hard work, responsibility, perseverance, humility, and devotion to family. His lessons were often taught not through words, but through the example he set every day.

Thang lived a full life with numerous accomplishments. He endured difficult times, embraced new beginnings, and dedicated himself to creating a better life for his family. His legacy will live on through his children, grandchildren, great-grandchild, and all those whose lives he touched.

While we grieve his passing, we are grateful for the extraordinary life he lived and for the love, strength, and values he left behind.

He built many things during his lifetime, but his greatest legacy was his family.

He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
