Henry Yee 

Henry Yee, age 93, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2025 after a brief illness. He was born in Guangzhou, China in 1932, and immigrated to Canada in the 1950s before moving to New York City in 1964. Henry and his wife Pui Ying initially lived in Chinatown before settling in Elmhurst/Queens in the 1970s. He was a business owner for several decades (Arrow Dry Cleaners in Woodside/Queens 1968–1989, and Yee’s Laundromat in Elmhurst/Queens 1989-1997), before retiring in 1998. Henry enjoyed travelling and going on cruises to the Americas, Europe and Asia. He also liked to play mahjong at the local senior center.

He is survived by his wife, Pui Ying, and daughter, Frances, as well as many nieces and nephews, and grand-nieces/-nephews in the US, Canada and China.
